EarlySpark Institute is a six-month, in-person teacher training program designed to grow San Mateo’s early education workforce. As a site partner, you’ll play a vital role in mentoring future educators—while gaining reliable classroom support at no cost to your program.

Partner with Us

  • Reliable Classroom Support
    Program participants work full-time in your classroom, adding extra capacity and energy—at no cost to you.

  • We Handle Payroll
    Participants are paid directly by Izzi Early Education—so you receive classroom support while we handle administration. 

  • Support You Can Count On
    All participants are fully vetted and receive coaching, mentoring, and support throughout the program.

  • Train Teachers
    Play an active role in shaping the future of early education by mentoring the next generation of teachers.

Your Role in the Program

  • Guidance and Training: guide program participants as they complete their 480 hours of in-classroom training

  • Track Hours: track attendance and hours for each participant

EarlySpark Institute works to expand the pool of qualified teachers in San Mateo County  by intentionally recruiting individuals whose lived experiences reflect the diverse, vibrant communities of San Mateo County.

Over three years, Early Spark Institute will train 60+ new early educators, each prepared to make a lasting impact in classrooms across the county. This program is a powerful step toward educational equity for all children.
